RESEARCH TOPICS

The Faculty of Arts of the University of West Bohemia encompasses a wide range of research topics – archaeology, modern history, sociology, international relations, philosophy, anthropology, Middle Eastern studies, and linguistics – which can be subsumed under the overarching topic of Modern Society. The Faculty has long been achieving excellent research results in terms of national and international competition, whether it be scholarly studies in the first two quartiles in journals indexed in prestigious databases (Web of Science, Scopus) or scholarly monographs published by prestigious foreign publishers (Routledge, Springer, De Gruyter, and more).
